Introduction
Laptops are becoming increasingly common these days. They range from tiny inexpensive netbooks to 17″+ high-powered quad-core gaming rigs. With the advancement of high-performance mobile computing power comes the necessary evil of heat that’s generated by these components. The biggest drawback that laptops have in the cooling department versus their desktop brethren is cooling. Desktop computers have room for large cooling units that can easily dissipate the heat generated by the internal components. Laptops, however, need to cool their parts with limited space. Many companies offer stands to place your laptop on that provide additional clearance for airflow, and some even have integrated fans that help force fresh cool air into your hot laptop. Cooler Master has sent us their latest laptop cooler, the NotePal A200, to check out so let’s get to it!
A little about the NotePal A200 from Cooler Master:
“Optimized for ergonomic use and cooling performance, NotePal A200 strikes the balance between performance, noise, and comfort. Equipped with two large 140mm fans, A200 can significantly improve the cooling on laptops up to 16” with relative ease. Less than an inch thick at its smallest point, lightweight aluminum construction, and a two port USB hub makes the A200 the perfect companion on-the-go.”
