Well it’s getting late in the year, Summer is coming to a close as the Fall begins and this is where we see hardware manufacturers coming to the tail end of the big product season, before the usual holiday frenzy. Closing out a busy summary period, we see that Cooler Master has one more product to hit the shelves, and specifically it’s a cooler to add to their already vast stockpile of coolers: the Hyper 212 EVO.

With the past Hyper 212 and Hyper 212 Plus products, Cooler Master is looking to continue to tweak and improve upon a successful and cost effective design with the Hyper 212 EVO.  Still employing the versatile universal mounting solution for both Intel and AMD systems, the 212 has been very impressive in the performance-to-price battle in the marketplace.  We’re hoping for more of the same here with the EVO.

From its outward appearances things don’t look like have changed that much other than the contact surface itself, so let’s get on with the review and see if there is any difference where it counts: in the performance arena.

Cooler Master was founded with the mission of providing the industry’s best thermal solutions. Since its establishment a decade ago, the company has remained faithful to this mission, emerging as a world leader in products and services for companies dealing with devices where heat issues must be resolved. The three cornerstones of Cooler Master’s business philosophy are innovation, speed, and customer satisfaction. Together, these ensure that Cooler Master is the supplier that the companies around the world rely on to deliver the best thermal solutions.
