Introduction

Today we have the BitFenix Outlaw Mid-Tower ATX chassis on the bench. This mid-tower chassis offers premium features, innovative layout, and advanced styling. One look at Outlaw reveals something rather unique in this segment. The motherboard tray is flipped upside down, placing the graphics card close to the top of the case. By doing so, Outlaw not only attempts to deliver enhanced cooling to graphics cards via the top fan vents, but this also allows the installation of extra-long VGA cards. Some may love BTX format, some may not, but it certainly has some advantages.

While priced very affordably, Outlaw comes with some of the same features that are found on some of their higher end chassis. The exterior front bezel is coated with the BitFenix signature SofTouch™ Surface Treatment for stain resistance and a luxuriously soft feel, and comes with a very attractive price of $50, so let’s move on with our review and see what more the Outlaw Mid-Tower by BitFenix has to offer.
