Summary

We have an unwritten rule around here that performance is king, and we think the ATP ToughDrive does live up to its claims in that department.  It’s not the fastest drive on the market, but it’s by no means a slouch at all.  It’s also not the cheapest, and the non-Camo version is about $10 cheaper as well.  Considering that, the non-Camo version might actually be a better purchase, to be honest.  The ToughDrive Camo really is an interesting animal.  Like a Humvee, it is a beast, but it does lack the refinement of a few things in the features it offers.  That being said, however, the ToughDrive certainly is a monster in the durability department; it took an enormous amount of abuse and just kept on driving.  Its performance in speed, features, and durability makes it a great all-around product.

Anyone looking for a truly rugged flash drive would do well to consider the ATP 4GB ToughDrive Camo (or its nekkid relative the ToughDrive).  Offering great transfer speeds and features, very good storage capacity for most needs, and durability as tough as they come, this flash drive is a solid performer and is a recommended purchase.
