Package and Contents

The ROG ” Republic of Gamers” signature packaging is now easy to spot. ASUS spends a great deal of attention to detail in the artwork of their packaging. This time is no different. The features and support that are labeled on the front of the boxes are always clear and visible so you know what you are getting.

Package 1At the rear of the package we have a little more detail on the ASUS Z97 Maximus VII Hero. This gives you a great summary of the specifications. This makes your purchase decision easier knowing the features and options available at a glance. Another great item here is the motherboard layout description. This will help you decide on what hardware you are going to want to add later or run now. This becomes helpful since layout can frequently be a make or break situation.

Package 2

With flap open, we find some more detailed specs of the motherboard, and a clear window so you can see the motherboard layout all at a glance.

Package 3

Once inside the box, ASUS includes the essentials: (from left to right) Users manual and guides, Rear I/O Panel, SATA cables, Front I/O Panel, and USB Adapters, SLI cable and Door Hanger a little something extra.

Package 4

ASUS has started to think about aesthetics more and more with its current product launches, and this time around was no different. It includes a black chrome (and padded) I/O Panel to match those with a black chassis even better.

Package 5

Now that we have covered the package and contents, let’s move on to the specifications.
