Just awhile ago we had the privilege of presenting the http://www.pureoverclock.com/review.php?id=967 ROM/DVD?R drive to you.  Today we are bringing you the latest of ASUS?s next generation of Optical Disc Drives, the DRW-24B1ST, that enables burning at incredibly fast speeds with innovating features such as E-Hammer, AVRS, OTS and E-Green.? We will be discussing these features throughout this review.?

The ASUS DRW-24B1ST is a powerful and energy-saving DVD?R/RW drive capable of writing to DVD?R media at 24X.? Double Layer and Dual Layer Recording speed is 12X max. DVD Rewriteable speeds are 8X max for DVD+RW and 6X max for DVD-RW respectively. DVD-RAM recording is supported at 12X max. Very fast 48X max CD-R burning and 32X max CD-RW, with these features this latest drive sounds promising.
