Conclusion and Summary:

The Archgon MH-3507HUB Fusion II Docking System is light weight, has a rugged feel and look, and features the high performance of USB 3.0. At its best, the Fusion II offers transfer speeds of up to five times faster than USB 2.0! I love the open architecture, as it will help keep your drives cooler. The tool-less and easy hot swap features on the Archgon Fusion II Dock are great for people on the go. Small enough to drop in your back pack or briefcase makes it easy to travel with you. Be it to school or to the work place, there is no more having to undo or unscrew an enclosure to remove a hard drive for me.

The patented quick release works great on both 2.5 and 3.5″ HDDs or SSDs. I never liked standing my HDD on end like you see with most enclosures, for fear of it falling over during operation. The horizontal design is a welcome sight, assuring me that there will never be an accident during use. The stackable feature is also a nice addition to save you space on your desktop. The Archgon MH-3507HUB Fusion II Dock is plug and play, and although being USB 3.0, is fully backward compatible and will work on any system with USB 2.0 ports. The power switch and blue ready light are perfectly placed and not too bright when it is flashing during data transfers.

The USB 3.0 cable, at about forty inches, provides you with enough length to facilitate easy plug in to any USB 3.0 I/O port on your computer. As some cases do not have USB 3.0 on the front or top, the longer cable is welcomed, providing plenty of slack even to the rear ports located on the motherboard. As an added bonus the Archgon MH-3507HUB Fusion II gives you three additional USB 3.0 ports with the built in USB 3.0 hub. This will add USB 3.0 speeds at your finger tips for plugging in additional devices.

Let me sum things up by saying, if you’re looking for a cost effective solution for storage that’s fast and easy to use, then the Archgon MH-3507HUB Fusion II is an easy choice. If you need to transfer data, music or movies at blazing speeds, then this dock needs to be on your short list. At a price point of just $56.99, this enclosure is a bit pricey, but is still a good value, and receives the PureOverclock Great Hardware award.

    1) What meaning of stackable? is’t just stack on 1 hub to another hub?
    2) If stackable on 1 hub to another hub only ,why not just build up stackable include
extendable hub for extra external SATA HDD
