Overview

Hardware:

Manufacturer:

Price at time of Review: $239.99 on Newegg and Amazon

WHAT WE LIKED:

Excellent Overclocking, Great BIOS Layout, Tons of software Options, Awesome Build Quality, Do I dare say the best Aesthetic Design?

WHAT WE DISLIKED:

None

BOTTOM LINE:
It's one thing to say Aorus made a good board, but it's another completely when we call it a premier product. If you're looking for a top tier platform for your system, the Z270X Gaming 7 is certainly worthy of your next build.

Packaging and Accessories

Take a good look at that sharp Falcon head on the front of the box! The decision to go with this branding on the gaming motherboards was excellent in my opinion. I’m sure I’ll mention this a few more times before the review is done.

Here’s where we begin seeing the tiny details that indicate great quality behind a product. The straps are excellent for cable management and we even get some included temperature sensors that can be placed just about anywhere. These are nice additions to have just in case you need them.

It’s nice to see the SLI bridge and the easy connect for the front panel, but what really caught my eye were the video port covers. Many people looking to purchase a board on this level have no intention of using integrated graphics, so this keeps the unused video ports safe and clean.

Finally, we have our usual manuals, but label stickers aren’t always included with every board. Aorus made sure to include a good amount.
