Introduction

There are so many mice on the market, it can be daunting to narrow down the choices to buy something suited to your needs, preferences, and budget. There are mice to cover tasks suited to the office, and those oriented to gaming, to name a couple of targeted consumers. But the market subset that we don’t see often targeted is the the MMO or RTS gamer in particular. With unique needs for more buttons and macros that the typical FPS gamer doesn’t really need, you’d think there would be many choices on the market for MMO gamers. In fact, there aren’t.

Well, today we’re going to test drive the AORUS Thunder M7, a mouse that’s specifically geared to MMO/RTS gamers. Coming with a huge assortment of buttons and some unique features as well, the M7 looks rather exciting. It’s got well-established Gigabyte backing it through their new AORUS gaming division, and the M7 is the flagship MMO mouse. And as an added bonus, we have the Thunder P3 mouse pad for a closer look as well, a control mat that’s utterly massive.

Let’s dive in.
