Packaging

My first FX chip came in a tiny tin box. Even though I like the tin, this box is quite a bit bigger due to the size of the Wraith Cooler. No surprises here.

On the back, we have a few details and a window to look at the chip, but nothing too fancy. Overall, the outer box looks nice but it isn’t designed with the idea of raw shelf appeal in mind. This makes sense since a processor purchase takes a bit more planning, rather than looking through retail shelves.

Inside, we have a larger brown box for the Wraith Cooler and a smaller cardboard box with the CPU inside. The packaging was done very nicely and I appreciate the redesign for the new coolers.
