AMD’s first eight core next generation CPU has officially launched. The hype has been heard from every blog, forum from every country throughout the world and finally, the day has arrived. Delays have been burdening to AMD fans but today we get to see how the FX-8150 stacks up against the rival Intel.

AMD’s business plan is positioned for a strong growth of the company. Zacate, the first phase of AMD’s new market strategy came many months ago. Llano released in June with great success and Bulldozer gives the final phase in AMD’s strategy in what Pure Overclock calls the “Tri Fecta” giving a 1-2-3 punch (Good, Better, Best). Bulldozer is the world’s first true eight core processor which is a milestone in the industry.

“Over the course of AMD’s four decades in business, silicon and software have become the steel and plastic of the worldwide digital economy. Technology companies have become global pacesetters, making technical advances at a prodigious rate — always driving the industry to deliver more and more, faster and faster.

However, “technology for technology’s sake” is not the way we do business at AMD. Our history is marked by a commitment to innovation that’s truly useful for customers — putting the real needs of people ahead of technical one-upmanship. AMD founder Jerry Sanders has always maintained that “customers should come first, at every stage of a company’s activities.”

Let’s see how things shake out.
