Can a CPU cooler have too much quality? Lepa makes an amazing tower cooler with the NEOllusion and the RGB lighting is one of the best in the business. That said, computer builders will certainly pay a steep price to add one of these units to their PC. It may be worth it in the long run.
Phase change cooling is all the rage for people who love to drool over things they know they can never afford. Still, that doesn’t stop us from posting an awesome product that’s in the early stages of its Kickstarter campaign. Calyos is behind the design of the NSG S0, an extremely interesting case that uses phase change cooling to keep your CPU AND GPU cooled off. From the looks of it there’s also no need to insulate for condensation either. Based on the graphs, you get a fanless system that can cool on the level of upper tier liquid which is pretty incredible. The bad news is that an early bird special is still close to $600 to land one of these cases. Really, the pricing isn’t that terrible when you think about what’s being offered here. On top of that, users have the option to mount some fans at the bottom to effectively cool their system off even more. Is this the first step down a road that will offer phase change cooling to the masses? I suppose time will tell. We have a small gallery below if you’d like a closer look, but you can also follow the link to the Kickstarter page for more detailed information. If you help Calyos out and end up with one of these guys, pictures should definitely happen in the forums! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1489140137/nsg-s0-worlds-first-fanless-chassis-for-high-perfo/#General
