Introduction

In Taipei, Taiwan on January 7, 2013 ADATA Technology has announced the launch of the PV100 power bank. The PV100 is an 8mm ultra-slim device charger that comes with a 2.1 Ampere output that meets the need for power of the current generation of mobile devices. It comes equipped with an LED power indicator that displays the charge level of the Li-polymer battery. This unit has obtained FCC, CE, LVD, PSE, C-Tick, KC, NOM, and Gost-R certifications.

Additionally, it features a wide range of protective features, including overcharge/discharge protection, overvoltage/overcurrent protection, and short circuit protection. The battery temperature is also monitored by Negative temperature coefficient (NTC) gauge, thus preventing overheat damage to the battery and the power bank. The PV 100 is available in black, white, blue, and pink and comes with an MSRP: $32.00. This unit will be available at Amazon.com and Newegg.com.
