SALT LAKE CITY – June 26, 2013 – Goal Zero’s Yeti 150 and Yeti 400 Solar Generators keep lights, phones , laptops and even appliances powered on through any situation. The two newest additions to the award winning Yeti line offer a clean and quiet solution for adventurers looking to keep a campsite lit and connected, or coastal families that want to be prepared for the fast approaching 2013 hurricane season.

“The Yeti line is all about preparation and gaining a sense of security,” says Joe Atkin, President and CEO of Goal Zero. “We wanted to provide enough power to keep the lights on after a big storm or keep a basecamp connected to the world in a smaller, more portable form factor than our first solar generator, Yeti 1250. Yeti 150 and 400 offer industry leading size to power ratios and provide our customers with the peace of mind to know they’ll have power whenever and wherever they’ll need it.”

The 29 pound Yeti 400 delivers 400 watt-hours of power, the equivalent of recharging a smartphone 30+ times, a laptop 5 times, running a TV for 3 hours or 100+ hours of light with Goal Zero’s Light-a-Life LED lantern. The AGM lead acid recharger features an internal pure sine wave inverter (grid equivalent), 2 AC outlets, 2 USB ports, and 3 12V ports. The Yeti 400 can be charged from the wall in just 5 hours or from the sun in 30 hours with the Nomad 27 Solar Panel

Weighing in at just 12 lbs, Yeti 150 is Goal Zero’s smallest solar generator but still delivers 150 watt hours of power via two 12V ports, a USB port and an AC port. The Yeti 150 can be fully recharged in 24 hours of full sun with the Nomad 13 Solar Panel or just 5 hours by plugging it into a wall outlet.
