Nanoxia News from Computex 2013 – Deep Silence 5

  Presenting the Deep Silence 5 The Deep Silence 5 is the second big tower of our case series. The tower is perfectly fitted for installing gaming systems with extra-long VGA-cards and high-end CPU coolers. The case is fully soundproofed with two noise-insulated front doors, three included 140 mm Deep Silence fans and a stepless two-channel fan control for up to 6 fans. The Deep Silence 5 offers a broad variety of great features. One of the main features are the fully modular HDD-cages for up to 11 HDD/SSD. Thanks to the unique versatility of the modular system, you can install graphic cards with a maximum length of up to 468 mm in length. When using all the HDD-cages, you can still mount extra-long cards with up to 338 mm. By removing the front HDD-cages, you can accommodate a 240/280 mm compact water cooling solution behind the case front. With the secondary cage in place, you can set up a push-pull configuration with up to four 120/140 mm fans cooling the radiator while still keeping at least three HDD-bays. If you want, there is always the possibility to place a water cooling solution with a slim radiator under the top cover. The front fans are mounted in “Easy Access” fan trays for easy installation and cleaning of the dust filters. The I/O-panel at the front of the top cover offers 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 as well as audio-ports. Kingston Technology Announced HyperX Memory for Intel’s Z87 ‘Haswell’ Platform

As part of our ongoing efforts to connect with industry leaders in the tech world, we reached out to interview some of the premier manufacturers who might be able to educate us on various aspects of the industry. It is not every day you get an opportunity to visit a Premier Manufacturing Company like Transcend, a world class leader in the field of memory and consumer electronics. Along with my invitation I had the pleasure of touring their facility. After our tour, I sat down with the General Manager, Clarence Chan, and Marketing Director Leslie Garcia for an interview about Transcend.
