Leadtek Research Inc, a world-leading maker of professional gaming graphics cards, launches the overclocking version of the GeForce GTX 650 graphics card. The new-generation GeForce GTX 650 is based on the new 28nm GK107 ASIC derived from the NVIDIA Kepler architecture. With graphics that clock up to 1,100MHz, the GeForce GTX 650 OC comes in a dual-fan design with 1GB GDDR5 memory and four outputs onboard to support output for up to four monitors for gamers to enjoy live experience at the most best price. There is also a standard version with 2GB GDDR5 memory. The dual-fan design on the GeForce GTX 650 OC from Leadtek contains two 74mm fans to enhance cooling. Test results with FURMARK show that this dual-fan design can reduce GPU temperature by 11ºC lower than NVIDIA’s standard design, 10% better! Equipped with the PCI Express 3.0 bus, 128-bit memory interface width, and 1GB/2GB GDDR5 memory, the GeForce GTX 650 OC from Leadtek supports such outputs as HDMI, Dual-Link DVI-D, D-SUB, and DisplayPort at the same time. Maximum resolution at 5760 x 1080 (NVIDIA Surround) allows gamers to enjoy life-like car-racing games and flight simulator games. By connecting to a fourth monitor, users can also check IM messages, e-mails and network information at the same time. Mach Xtreme Technology ES USB 3.0 SLC Flash Drives Coming September 20

Taipei, Taiwan—September 14, 2012— Mach Xtreme Technology Inc., a worldwide leader in top performance, high reliability and user-friendly designed PC components, today unveiled ES™ Series USB3.0 SLC flash drives. The MX-ES™ is the most compact extreme performance SLC USB 3.0 flash drive on the market and will be available in worldwide retail and e-tail starting Thursday, September 20th. The MX-ES USB3.0 Series utilizes top quality Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND to offer extreme performance and longer endurance over Multi-Level Cell (MLC) NAND, which is typically used in other USB3.0 pendrives. Changing the NAND components from MLC to SLC significantly increases the performance and longevity of MX-ES flash drive. These USB3.0 flash pendrives are much more durable and reliable and are built to endure severe operating environments such as extreme cold and hot temperatures, continuous vibration, high shock impact, intensive read-write cycles etc. Such features are essential to users that require a more robust and rugged digital storage option to ensure repeatable and reliable operation. With powerful SLC flash and proven design; the MX-ES Series drastically outperforms standard MLC-based pendrives. The MX-ES™ flash drive delivers best-in-class read and write speeds clocking in at up to 170MB/s read and 185MB/s write along with its ultra compact size (72mm x 17mm x 7mm). Mach Xtreme ES flash drive comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models. All this combined with 5-Years warran...

How many of you remember the the Speed Skating at the last winter Olympics? As a young man during my High School years I did some speed skating of my own... strapping on those skates and racing against others on the clean fresh ice was an exhilarating and rewarding experience, especially when I won. If the conditions of the ice beneath my feet were right, and my skates were sharp it was easier to get in "the zone." The slightest tweak could help me out-maneuver, speed past, and beat my opponents to the finish line. When gaming on a PC you also look for those same slight tweaks that might help you get in the zone and provide that extra edge over your opponents.
