XSPC Raystorm Copper Water Block

Introduction RayStorm is the catchy name for XSPC’s flagship CPU water block. RayStorm has garnered many awards for its outstanding thermal performance, including the PureOC Editor’s Choice Award six months ago. However, the water block has received some criticism from water cooling enthusiasts. Some enthusiasts, for example, questioned the durability of the acrylic hold-down bracket and the non-metal block’s housing. Recognizing that enthusiasts can be tough crowd to please, XSPC has received all the criticism with the open arms and made improvements to an already outstanding water block to address these concerns. Cooler Master Announces Horizontal Vapor Chamber Technology

Chino, California – July 31st, 2012 – Cooler Master announces further integration of Vapor Chambers into its retail Heatsinks. After releasing the world’s first heatpipe heatsink in 2000, and the first vertical vapor chamber Heatsink in early 2012, Cooler Master today announces broader adoption of Vapor Chamber Technology developed by Cooler Master’s OEM and industrial cooling division in its retail Heatsinks. RunCore to Build State-of-the-Art SSD Production Facility in Changsha

RunCore is further on expansion course to meet growing SSD demand RunCore, leading supplier of high-performance solid-state drives, announces the latest move in their aggressive growth strategy. Lian Li Announces Silent ATX Chassis – PC-B12

Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd, today announces a silent brushed aluminum ATX supported chassis – PC-B12. The PC-B12 has many features to keep noise down to minimum, including: a vent on the bottom of the chassis pulling in cool air, a downward facing exhaust baffle and noise dampening foam on the front and side panels. The front panel of the PC-B12 has no visible vents. Instead of air entering in from the front, two 140 mm fans behind the front panel pull in cool air through the 12 cm wide (4.7″) intake vent on the bottom of the chassis. Four sturdy aluminum feet with rubber bottoms to reduce vibrations give ample room for air to be pulled into the bottom vent. The rear 120 mm exhaust fan has an adjustable downward facing exhaust baffle on the exterior of the case with noise dampening foam that not only bounces the sound waves down, but also directs the hot air towards the floor. The easily removable front panel and side panels of the PC-B12 both have noise dampening foam to further reduce sound from escaping the chassis. Up to three 3.5″ hard drives with an hotswap option and one 2.5″ hard drive can be installed in the hard drive cage at the front of the chassis. Montevina with a 45 nm Core 2 Duo Penryn processor will launch in late Q2 or on June 3rd and Intel plans that 19 percent of its notebooks in Q2 will ship with Montevina and Core 2 Duo 45nm mobile CPU. In Q3 Intel is aiming for a whopping 45 percent market share, while at the end of the year Intel plans that 66 percent of all notebooks it ships in the pre-Xmas shopping spree will have Core 2 Penryn based CPUs.
