GIGABYTE Announces “Super Tuner” Contest Winners

Taipei, Taiwan, July, 5th 2011 – GIGABYTE TECHNOLGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced the winners of the GIGABYTE Super Tuner contest, hosted on HWBOT.org, a three stage contest based on GPU overclocking ability. Running from May 15th to June 15th, contestants were invited to use any GIGABYTE 6 series motherboard (aka Sandy Bridge) to reach the highest score on 3DMark2001 at each of these three stages:

Super Tune Contest Stages
Stage 1: NVIDIA GeForce 200 Series (single or multiple)
Stage 2: NVIDIA GeForce 300/400 Series (single or multiple)
Stage 3: AMD/ATI Graphics (single or multiple)

Super Tune Winners
#1. FoX – 15 points – Team OCX – Spain
#2. SniperOZ – 11 points – Team i4memory – Australia
#3. SuicidePheonix – 10 points – Team HardwareLuxx – Germany

The top three overall winners were awarded a GIGABYTE Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard. Please note that Dino22 honorably conceded 2nd place due to his role as a GIGABYTE employee.
