The built-in RJ11 port can be used for PSTN telephony services

Leadtek and its international telecommunication partners are pushing for a change in the traditional telephone communication by introducing the AMOR8218 with a brand new multimedia service. The AMOR8218 is the best device for home and office, offering video or voice telephone calling, weather information, traffic conditions, and musical channels etc. The AMOR8218 even supports the ZigBee specification to connect to a wireless sensor network for the next generation in home automation. Also the USB interface can be taken as a battery charger or data transmission port for external device and storage.

Video phones are no longer limited to just telephone communication, as every network service can now be controlled through widgets on the Android platform. Video and audio enabled security solutions can be integrated into the monitoring camera; electric appliances can now be turned on/off by a finger touch in addition, the integrated LBS system can be used to track family members or for fleet management purposes.
