Hannover, Germany, at the CeBIT fairground this year, GeiL debuted its’ all new Power Supply brand – Thortech Power. The first product series of Thortech will be the Thunderbolt Series, which will consist only of 80 PLUS Gold efficiency level Power Supplies in a range of wattages. Only engineering samples were shown at the CeBIT, however, more refined production samples of the Thortech Thunderbolt 90 PLUS ultra high efficiency power supplies will be showcased and demoed ar the upcoming Computex in June.

As for GeiL’s technology in DRAM, the presentation of EVO III fully-automatic IC tester and Die-hard Burn-in Technology (DBT) were also introduced. With the EVO III IC tester, GeiL is able to test and sort IC chips by desired characteristics such as freqency and voltage. On the module side, with the DBT burn-in chamber, GeiL is able to apply such dynamic burn-in technology on every piece of GeIL memory to ensure only the most reliable of memory products are delivered from its production lines.
