Eight hours after their original tweet today announcing that the GeForce GTX 470 and GeForce GTX 480 would be unveiled at PAX East next month, NVIDIA had to clear up some confusion due to their wording of that original announcement. Evidently, many fans took it that the card would only be unveiled next month, and we were going to be looking at yet another delay in a card that was due out last September. To ease everyone’s fears, NVIDIA had this to say from Twitter:

Apologies for the confusion around our most recent GF100 update. To clarify, launch date for GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 is March 26, 2010.

So, for those of you that were a part of the confusion, rest easy. The new NVIDIA cards based on the GF100 chip are only a short 33 days away.
