Continuing the Sonic brand’s reputation for overclocked performance, the Palit GTX 260 Sonic 216SP has a real 448-bit memory bus and -0.8ns 896MB of GDDR3 RAM. The memory is clocked at 2.2GHz with a core frequency of 625MHz. Equipped with the Sonic features, the performance of the overclocked Palit GTX260 Sonic 216SP is 9% higher than the default GTX260. Dual Fan Double Coolness:
Palit’s innovative dual fan cooling system for the GTX260 Sonic 216SP comes with two PWM(Pulse-Width Modulation) fans and three heat-pipes to provide high performance and a reliable cooling solution. The dual PWM fans are able to provide sufficient air flow to cool the GPU on the graphics quietly. The PWM fan created for both fans can adjust the fan speed depending on the GPU’s temperature allowing the GTX260 Sonic 216SP to run quietly.
