The sub-$59 RV710-powered graphics are also set to be announced this month and they will be officially known as the Radeon HD 4550 and HD 4350. Expected to fight off Nvidia’s GeForce 9400 and 9300 cards, the low-cost Radeon have 64-bit memory interfaces, PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interfaces, DirectX 10.1 support, PowerPlay 2.0 and the 2.2 version of the Unified Video Decoder.

The Radeon HD 4550 features a GPU clocked at 800 MHz and either 256 or 512MB of GDDR3 memory set to 800 – 900 MHz while the HD 4350 also has a 800 MHz RV710 but only 256MB of GDDR2 memory @ 500 MHz. As it seems, only the HD 4550 will start shipping at the end of September with its little brother set to make its way into stores in Q4.
