OCZ’s upcoming Elixir II gaming keyboard pixellated

We managed to get our hands on a few pictures of OCZ’s new addition to the Alchemy series lineup, the Elixir II keyboard. Unlike the previous Elixir keyboard, which is a rather normal keyboard with ten macro and 16 additional media/internet keys, the new Elixir will be a rather compact, slim and lightweight keyboard.

The new Elixir II keyboard will have a slim design and it will weigh around 600g (1.35lbs). The only three new keys are Internet, Email and System Power-down which can usually be found on many keyboards. The new Elixir keyboard will feature rubberized coated “SoftTouch” keys with a lifespan of 5 million cycles.

OCZ is still sticking to the black and blue color scheme but as you can see from those pictures below, blue is represented as a thin border line, and we must admit that it looks good. The keyboard is first going to be available for the U.S. market, and EU should get it before Christmas.
