ExitReality launch three dimensional web browser

After you install the 4MB plug-in software that works in IE or Firefox, you simply visit the ExitReality website and type in a web address and within a minute or so, you can walk around that website in 3D. No kidding – this is for real!

While we haven?t tried it much yet, it?s a little hard to see the point of it. You can create special MySpace profiles which convert the 3D profile into an apartment ? same with Facebook and others.

If you walk through TweakTown in 3D, it just looks like an empty hall with a bunch of links to reviews. While we couldn?t get YouTube working in 3D, apparently each video is setup like a movie theater.
