The two new silicon chips will have similar specs but will differ in integrated graphics power with the GeForce 9400 being, of course, faster. While both chipset will have 16 Stream Processors, the 9300 will have to settle for core and shader clocks of 450 and 1200 MHz respectively while the 9400 will reach 580 MHz and 1500 MHz. Getting back to the specs, the GeForce 9400 and 9300 will have support for the latest 1333 MHz FSB LGA775 processors, one PCI-Express 2.0 slot (each), DDR2-800 or DDR3-1333 memory support, six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and Gigabit Ethernet. In terms of connectivity, Nvidia’s chips will provide everything from VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.
