The TA-790GX A2+ has HDMI, DVI and D-Sub connectivity and it also appears to have at least four rear USB 2.0 ports, onboard Ethernet, 7.1-channel audio, but no S/PDIF of any kind. What’s good to see is that Biostar has gone for a digital switch this time, so there’s no need to swap any jumpers around to use CrossFireX on this board.

It has a pair of x16 PCIe slots, although they’re limited to x8 operation in CrossFireX mode and the second slot will only operate in x1 mode if the first slot is in x16 mode. There’s also a pair of PCIe x1 slots and PCI slots. Biostar has also gone for six angled SATA ports, one IDE connector, six USB headers and even a header each for a serial and parallel port. Finally this board also has onboard power and reset buttons.
