Intel: CUDA is merely a “footnote in computing history”

In an interview with CustomPC, Intel's Pat Gelsinger commented that Nvidia's CUDA language will soon be nothing more than "interesting footnotes in the history of computing".

AMD’s Q1 CPU market share is up annually

Citing figures provided by market research firm iSuppli, AMD's CPU market share in Q1 this year was 13% compared to Intel's 79%. Although this figure is a quarterly drop, AMD is up annually.
