Radeon HD 4850 shortages in the UK

What is even worse, is that most of them didn’t even list any cards, despite the fact that these companies had more than enough time yesterday to add these products to their websites. We only found two companies listing cards and that was the one and the same card from Sapphire.

Both companies are also listing the card for the same price ?147.99 or about ?188/$292 which is a crazy price in comparison of what we’ve seen these cards going for in Europe and the US. Rip-off Britan at its best, as this is a lot more than just adding some VAT on top of the US list price of $199.

On a side note, we spotted several manufacturers on Newegg offering mail in rebates of between $25-30 and the company had cards from no less than eight different manufacturers in stock. Makes you wonder what went so wrong in the UK.
