The special with Hybrid SLI is that the discrete graphics card will remain dormant until you need it. When browsing the web or just reading e-mail, the computer will use the integrated graphics, but when you start a game, the discrete card will take over and give you all the power you need.

If you want to take advantage of the Hybrid Boost feature you need go for either GeForce 8400 GS or GeForce 8500 GT, but it might just be for the better and wait for newer Hybrid Power-compatible graphics card with better performance, if you think the 9800 series cards are too expensive.
