Hybrid SLI for Intel pushed back

Expected as soon as the end of this month, the MCP7A-U and MCP7A-S chips will soon be getting a new revision this week and this will not give manufacturers any other choice but to delay the release of motherboards powered by them.

If nothing else goes wrong, the first boards offering Hybrid SLI for Intel’s Core 2 CPUs should be showcased at Computex early next month but availability will hover between the end of June and early July, the latter option making the chips Q3 parts. But, delaying chips seems like the recent trend in Santa Clara.
