Hybrid SLI drivers are a rare breed
You may have noticed some other previews and reviews of Hybrid SLI on the net. Have you noticed that they all use the same exact motherboard, the ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe? This is an enthusiast-class, high-end nForce 780a chipset motherboard that goes for $250 or so. Nothing wrong with that, and it’s really the class of board a lot of the people interested in HybridPower will want. But it’s only one model from one vendor.
BIOSes that support HybridPower are not available for any of the other 730a, 750a, or 780a motherboards. Some are just starting to ship now, others have been available. It’s also almost entirely pointless for those interested in GeForce Boost; who is going to buy a $250 motherboard to plug in a sub-$200 AMD processor and a $60 (or less) graphics card?
