Activision also revealed the Call of Duty 4 engine is being used for the new James Bond movie tie-in. The game is due out this autumn, which is also when new film The Quantum of Solace will be released. It’s being developed by COD3 developer Treyarch, also responsible for the Spider-Man 3 game.

The publisher has yet to give a release date for Call of Duty 5, or confirm whether Infinity Ward is developing. But seeing as the last COD game they made sold 7 million copies worldwide, it seems likely.
