For those interested, quad-SLI seems to perform best in Call of Duty 4 (+42 FPS), Assasin’s Creed (+59 FPS), Company of Heroes (+22 FPS) and Crysis (+16 FPS). Next to no gains were witnessed in World in Conflict (+2 FPS), Gears of War (-2 FPS), Bioshock (-4 FPS) or NFS Pro Street (-8 FPS).

The second Quad-SLI article has been posted by vga.zol.com.cn and it sees the two G92-powered 9800 GX2 tested with a 3.2 GHz QX9770 system loaded with the 174.53 ForceWare drivers and 32bit Windows Vista Ultimate.

The results showcased by this review paint a picture in which the Quad-SLI setup offers notable performance gains in Call of Duty 4, Assasin’s Creed, Company of Heroes and Crysis. Low or next to none gains have been seen with World in Conflict, Gears of War, Bioshock or TimeShift. The pretty colored graphs with the actual numbers can be found here.
