Other reports have confirmed that the 9800 GTX is clocked at 675MHz with 512MB of GDDR3 memory at 2000MHz. Pricing is set to be $349, meaning two 9800 GTX’s is more expensive than a single 9800 GX2 (which should retail at $599).

Several leaked slides have now revealed the MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail price) of the card that will arrive on March 25; $349 (one slide says $299-349, but the rest $349). This is actually slightly lower than our estimate and not bad at all. The performance is good, even though drivers are still in need of some tweaking. And you can expect many factory-overclocked cards.

So performance isn’t the jump you’d expect from a new series, though the board does overclock quite well (900MHz), as UniHardware have just proved.
