Sunday Sampler [02-03-08]

Just over a year since hitting the market, Microsoft has announced global price cuts for their Vista operating system. Worth noting is that the reductions will mainly focus on the upgrade versions of the OS. No numbers have been announced, though Microsoft said the cuts are already effective on Amazon. This is correct, as the site sells the Home Basic and Home Premium upgrades for $50.99 instead of $99.95, and $94.99 instead of $159.95, respectively.
