Hipro5 pushes a Radeon 2900 XT to 1377MHz
Hipro5 is known as one of the top overclockers in the world. He is a very skilled overclocker, and his soldering and modding skills are probably, together with Shamino, the best of the overclocking community. After keeping a low profile for a while he’s back with some Radeon 2900XT modding. After completing just five of the eight planned modifications, he has published some initial test runs and been able reach a core freuqency of 1377MHz, bench stable. The cold bug went down from -137?C to -187?C, and he was able to keep the cards at -182?C during load.
There is a benchmark thread over at Xtremesystems, though at the time of writing, they seem to be having some server issues.
