Slightly improving on their previous record, which was also broken at DreamHack, Marcus and Robert have secured their place as number one in the hall of fame. By adding an additional 178 points to their previous world record, the figure stands at 29,325 points. The "key" to the record was apparently the Radeon HD 2900 XT graphics card's slightly higher core clock of 1200MHz - as opposed to 1175MHz.
Over a month ago, Nvidia accidentally (or maybe intentionally) revealed a new board that had been rumored a few days prior, to one-day exist. It would seem that history has repeated itself - although this time we get more than a name - how about some confirmed specs. As usual, the page has now been removed, but a screenshot over at TweakTown reassures the 8800 GTS' clocks to be 650MHz/1000MHz, and 1625MHz for the shaders.
