1UP 10/10 – “It’s hard to imagine a feature of this game that someone won’t love. Or you can just look at it as a sum of so many quality parts, that value-wise, Halo 3 is as sure a thing as it gets.”

Gamespot 9.5/10 – “On the surface, Halo3 is every bit the sequel you would expect it to be, in that it delivers meaningful upgrades to both the story-driven and competitive sides of the package.”

IGN 9.5/10 – “There’s no first-person shooter on 360 that can equal Halo 3’s blend of cinematic action, adrenaline-pumping shootouts, and male- (and female)-bonding gameplay. Look beyond the gameplay and you have a rich feature set unlike anything ever delivered in a videogame.”

Gametrailers (video) 9.8/10

Kotaku – “While Halo 3 does deliver on its promise to wrap things up, I found the plot a bit too convoluted to either follow or really care about. Sure, I wanted to see what happens, how it all ends, but that’s not what drove me to complete the game.”
