Gigabyte profits rise 413% during H1 07

Gigabyte have posted their financial status for the first half of 2007. The company's current revenue is just under $400 million (USD) while profits for the first half are $22.3 million, 413% higher than this time last year. Analysts predict sales to rise 20% in Q3.

Intel V8 head to head against AMD’s 4X4 platform

Motherboards.org have published a comparison between Intel's V8 and AMD's 4X4 platform. Intel's S5000Xvx board was fitted with two 3.0 GHz Xeon 5365's, while the ASUS L1N64-SLI WS ran alongside two FX74 CPU's also at 3.0 GHz.

GeCube now shipping twin GPU HD2600 X2

We first heard about this card during this year's Computex. Called the GEMINI 2, it was essentially two GPU's on the one PCB. Today, the name has grown to the GEMINI 3 and it's now being shipped. The board features up to 1GB of memory and each core runs at 800MHz.

OCZ unveil Vanquisher CPU cooler

Commonly known for their memory, OCZ have announced a new CPU cooler, the Vanquisher. The Vanquisher's 92mm fan operates between 800 and 2000 RPM. Compatible with socket 754, 939, AM2 and LGA775, the cooler combines heatpipes and a tower style design.

G92 is now a high-end chip, says Inquirer
