Intel report $8.7 billion quarter revenue
Intel’s operating income came in at $1.35 billion, while net income was $1.3 billion. Although the net income is up by 44% from this time last year, it has dropped a substantial 22% from Q1. The figures seem to adopt what we would expect from Q2 – low. AMD’s competitive prices seem to be making their dent with Intel’s gross margin dipping from 50.1% in Q1 2007, to 46.9% in Q2.
On the whole Intel’s revenue is up 8% from last year, and only suffered a 2% decrease over the quarterly interchange.
