AMD’s latest roadmap reveals details about their M88, M86 and M82 mobile GPU’s. There are a wide variety of features amongst the chips including DirectX 10.1, UVD (and they’re sure of it this time), Crossifre, PCIe 2.0 and DisplayPort compatibility. The high-end contender, dubbed M88, supports all of the above except for DisplayPort. The M86 is the second chip in the world to support both DisplayPort and HDMI. And finally the M82 lacks UVD. Every GPU mentioned will be 55nm.

It’s only a matter of time until the make or break season against Nvidia’s NB9E and other mobile alternatives commences.
