Over in the Asus booth at DreamHack the guys scored 24,645 points. The system used featured a Core 2 Extreme QX6700 running at 4942MHz paired with an ASUS Striker Extreme motherboard, as well as two GeForce 8800 Ultra’s at 930/2400MHz.

There’s no stopping them as they believed that they could go even higher – “There might have been even better results if the motherboard hadn’t started acting up, but we’re quite satisfied with what we managed to achieve at this year’s DreamHack Summer.”

These live performances introduce several new factors to consider and there are a lot more things that can go wrong. It’s hard to break records when not under pressure, extremely difficult when doing it Live and in front of 6,000 DreamHack visitors.
