Intel ‘Bearlake’ P35 and G33 official debut

Bearlake is Intel?s upcoming replacement for the current 97x series of chipsets. The main benefits of Bearlake are DDR3 and PCI Express 2.0 support. The vPro series will be named the Q35 and Q33 Express. High end chipsets will be dubbed the Intel X38 and P35 Express names while the mainstream parts will receive the Intel G35 and G33 names.

Many companies have announced motherboards featuring one of the above mentioned chipsets, in case you’ve forgotten, here’s a quick recap including most of the major manufactures.

Gigabyte – GA-P35-DS4, GA-P35-DQ6, GA-P35-DS3P, GA-P35-DS3R, GA-P35-DS3, GA-P35-S3, GA-P35C-DS3R, GA-G33M-DS2R and the GA-G33-DS3R.
Asus – P5K, P5K Deluxe and P5K3 Deluxe.
Abit – IP35 Pro, IP35, and IP35-E.
MSI – P35 Diamond, P35 Platinum, P35 Platinum Combo, P35 Neo and P35 Neo Combo.
