AMD Radeon HD2900 XT reviews

While the only card available to buy today is the HD2900 XT, AMD have announced its mainstream cards, the HD2600, and 2400 too, but these will not be available until late July.

The HD 2900 XT packs 320 unified stream processors and 16 texture units and render backends, with a core clock of 740 MHz. On the memory side of things, it comes with 512MB GDDR3 clocked at 1.65 GHz and connects via a true 512 bit memory controller (1024 bit internal ring bus this time), which gives it 106 GB/s of memory bandwidth, yum yum!

The HD 2900 XT uses an 80nm TMSC fabrication process which means this card consumes around 215 watts of power at load?
