Corsair Twin2X2048-8500C5 2GB DDR2 @ Virtual-Hideout

Snip: If you’re in the market for one of the best DDR2 memory kits that money can currently buy, you should put this Corsair Twin2X2048-8500C5 on your short list. Cheap it isn’t, but Corsair is one of the few names in the industry that it’s actually worth paying more for, because you know you’re getting top quality. Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wifi @ Bit-tech

Snip: Based on our collective experiences with both boards, we believe that the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe WiFi Edition represents better value for money on a number of counts and that is not just because it is nearly ?10 cheaper. The M2N32-SLI Deluxe was fantastically stable, a great overclocker and is generally well laid out, too. Both the Foxconn and ASUS boards were superb for tweakers and novices alike due to the layered nature of the BIOS. However, the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe was a much better overclocker than the Foxconn C51XEM2AA Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wifi @ Bit-tech

Abit and DFI tackle ATI’s CrossFire Xpress 3200 @ Tech Report

Snip: Back in the day, Abit made arguably the best enthusiast-oriented motherboards around. Abit boards were sought after for their extra onboard peripherals and overclocking-friendly BIOSes. Performance wasn’t too shabby either, but the competition adapted quickly. Soon others were offering mobos with similar features and overclocking options, although continued innovation allowed Abit to retain its BIOS crown. Then, just a couple of years ago, Abit became embroiled in financial difficulties that would drag on and eventually see the company purchased by USI. Abit lost a lot of ground during that time, but with USI’s backing, the company is now focusing almost exclusively on motherboards in an attempt to regain its former glory. Looking back, the timeline of Abit’s decline nearly matches the rise of DFI. For years, DFI was best known for OEM and industrial products, but recently it’s built a series of exceptional enthusiast-oriented LANParty boards. Those boards have offered unique designs, plenty of BIOS options, and a penchant for running at higher-than-stock speeds that’s made them particularly popular among overclockers. With some calling DFI the new Abit, we thought it only fitting to pit these two companies’ latest Athlon 64 motherboards against each other head to head. Can the LANParty UT CFX3200-DR continue DFI’s streak of killer Athlon 64 mobos, or will Abit’s AT8 32X rise like a Phoenix to retake the enthusiast moth...

Blackberry 8700c @ Digital Trends

Snip: The 8700 series devices, primarily the "c" model available from Cingular, are Blackberry?s most advanced models yet, making them even more ?Crackberryish.? The quad-band 8700c is the first broadband Blackberry, operating on Cingular’s EDGE network in the U.S., which results in even faster email downloads. The 8700 also has twice as much internal memory as any other Blackberry. But RIM (Research in Motion) has introduced a little amusement into the 8700 — it can play MP3 ringtones. Super Talent T800UX2GC4 @ Overclockers Online

Snip: Super Talent has made a grand entrance here at Overclockers Online. The T800UX2GC4 entered the ring with high expectations and it didn’t disappoint. The free boost up to 1000 MHz is one thing no one will complain about. The one downside, it didn’t take long for me to literally kill the sticks. Super Talent T800UX2GC4 @ Overclockers Online

Zalman VF900-Cu Videocard Heatsink @ FrostyTech

Snip: The companies newest videocard heatsink is called the Zalman VF900-Cu, and it offers wider GPU compatibility with the large variety of ATI and nVidia videocards that on the market. In fact, five different mounting hole styles are supported! Unlike the ZM80D-HP which used heatpipes and front and rear mounted aluminum cooling fins, the Zalman VF900-Cu occupies space on the front of the videocard only. Measuring about 96mm in diameter, the VF900-Cu is entirely constructed of copper components, with two 5mm diameter heatpipes looping around the outside of its many thin cooling fins. ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard @ Tech Spot

Snip: Much of my time over the past month has been spent testing the new AM2 Athlon64 and Sempron processors from AMD. During this time I have not only tested these new processors, but also the supporting motherboards and chipsets. Initial testing was done on an nForce 570 Ultra motherboard using DDR2-800 memory and the results were somewhat disappointing. Although the processor performance did seem quite good, the gaming results were far from impressive as all the tests favored the older 939-pin platform.?It was not until I tested the much more expensive nForce 590 SLI chipset that I began to see the AM2 platform shine. The nForce 590 SLI delivered everything the nForce 570 Ultra was lacking and that was mostly performance! The nForce 570 Ultra feature set was most impressive and thankfully the nForce 590 SLI only gets better. Through testing I also discovered that the nForce 590 SLI seems to be a much better overclocker than the nForce 570 Ultra which is surprising.?Today we will be reviewing the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe mainboard that features the nForce 590 SLI chipset, which is designed for the "enthusiast" segment. As you would expect from the world’s most recognized motherboard manufacturer, the M2N32-SLI Deluxe is already making a name for itself as the best AM2 motherboard available thus far, and yes, it features many of the successful design elements of the widely regarded ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe. Viewsonic VP2130b 21in Monitor @ Trusted Reviews

Snip: When you?re writing for a technology publication on a regular basis one runs the risk of becoming blas? about technology. However, when you take a step back it is remarkable how far things have come even in a couple of years. One of the first reviews on TrustedReviews was a Viewsonic VP211b, a 21in LCD display that blew Riyad away back in September 2003. In that review Riyad observed that 1,600 x 1,200 was the highest resolution that a single DVI port can handle, whereas now it?s 1,920 x 1,200. Back then, a 24in widescreen was an enormously expensive and exotic beast, whereas now its relatively affordable. So is there now any point getting excited about a 4:3 screen? The answer in this case is a definite yes. Viewsonic VP2130b 21in Monitor @ Trusted Reviews
