A few weeks a go we showed off some tasty non-reference cards from Nvidia launch partner Galaxy that?were?rumoured to be appearing in European stores very soon. I’ve just recieved word of the first of these cards, taking form as a rather impressive 7600GS.

Galaxy’s take on the 7600GS is much improved over the reference board and uses its own PCB design. The cards core is clocked at 500MHz (stock 7600GS is 400MHz), throws out the 256MB of GDDR2 memory clocked at 400MHz and instead replaces it with 256MB of 2.0ns GDDR3 memory clocked at 500MHz. Galaxy don’t stop there, they aslo add?some other inticing features found nowhere else like SmartFlash and Buzz Alarm.

This sounds rather famliar to what Gainward?are doing with some of there cards?(own PCB and changing memory specs) so we’re rather excited here at PureOverclock to see another manufacturer stepping up the stakes.

Prices and availability are as yet unknown though.
