60% of Vista needs re-writing?
The Inq is reporting that up to 60% of the code in the consumer version of Vista may need to be rewritten. It has something to do with Media Centre code; apparently they cannot get it to work properly in its current format and will have to make a lot of changes to "jack it in".
Microsoft has also admitted it has major problems in its Windows division which has lead to a decision to restructure it in its entirety.
Microsoft has been making a lot of bad decisions lately. You may recall a big revamp of its online search engine that was reported to have cost $150 million and gained them little market share. Let?s hop Vista stays on track after this major hiccup.
