NVIDIA 7600 GT vs. ATI X1800 GTO @ Trusted Reviews

Snippet: During CeBIT, while Gordon and I were out in Germany getting frosty toed and weary eyed, NVIDIA was nice enough to launch seven products on the same day. While Benny did an excellent job covering the 7900 GTX, today it’s the turn of the 7600 GT – NVIDIA?s new mid-range card. As much as we all like to whet our appetites reading about high-end kit for financial reasons, this is the card that most in the market for a graphics board will be thinking about more seriously. Asus EAX1900XTX 2DHTV/512M/A Radeon X1900 XTX Videocard @ PC Stats

Snip: ASUS videocards tend to have a reputation of being the "Mac daddy" of any series, and its prices reflect this position – about $715 CDN ($630 USD / ?360 GBP) for this baby. Of course with Asus, consumers get a nice bundle of extras too. The hot Asus EAX1900XTX videocard is a shining example; it comes with a bunch of useful cables, software, and a full version of the game King Kong. Full review @ PC Stats

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter @ Trusted Reviews

Snippet: In the lead up to the Xbox 360 launch, this was one of the games that I was most excited about. It had already been made clear that Halo 3 wouldn?t be rearing its head for a very long time, but screen shots of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, or GRAW, looked very promising indeed. In fact, despite much being made of the next generation graphics in Project Gotham Racing 3, it was this game that showed the most promise when it came to advanced visuals. Unfortunately GRAW slipped somewhat and didn?t turn out to be an X360 launch title, but now that it?s actually here, was it worth the wait? Full review @ Trusted Reviews

MSI’s K8N Diamond Plus motherboard @ Tech Report

Snip: Seemingly content to make do?with the original nForce4 SLI, motherboard manufacturers have been slow to adopt NVIDIA’s nForce4 SLI X16 chipset. For months, Asus’ A8N32-SLI was the only Socket 939 motherboard capable of feeding 16 lanes of PCI Express to each of a pair of graphics cards in SLI, giving enthusiasts seeking gobs of graphics bandwidth few options. Fortunately, that’s starting to change. Mobo makers appear to be warming to the X16 chipset, and MSI is the latest to take the plunge with the K8N Diamond Plus. Is the K8N Diamond Plus’ integrated Audigy audio really all that, and more importantly, can the board keep up with the latest nForce4 SLI, X16, and even CrossFire boards on the market? Let’s find out. Full review @ Tech Report
